Website Redesign User Experience User Interface eCommerce

Forget having to pick up your favourite local wines from the liquor store – get them shipped right to your door. At, thanks to Bill C-311, direct to consumer shipping across Canada allowed MWC to come to fruition as a new way to shop online. Jackson Wynne worked closely with the MWC team focussing on increasing the quality of their customer’s shopping experience, as well as improving the sign up for online subscriptions.

Website Redesign

Jackson Wynne was hired to redesign for the Magento eCommerce platform. Beyond core page updates, key areas were rethought and redesigned from scratch. Wine subscriptions were a major area of focus. An advanced search interface was designed for easy search and filtering by region, vintage and price. Everything came together with a modern update for their growing customer base. Responsive design was included for mobile and tablet shopping.


The new look and feel of the brand online is more approachable and functional with a lot of added features and is overall a more enjoyable shopping experience. The website was successfully launched in September, 2015 – so it’s early days yet. Further considerations and testing will be explored to refine critical areas.
