Branding Packaging Website

Jackson Wynne was challenged to resurrect this heritage brand, to the crown jewel it was just a hundred plus years ago. Once a multi-level department store, the Burroughes has survived transfer of ownership, change in business, and expansions to become the crown of Queen West. Home to flagship stores, and headline events such as TIFF, building a strong brand was essential.

From resurrecting an existing logotype, to producing the Brand Guide, stationary, merchandise bags and ads. Exploring the rich history of the building, while balancing modern appeal to attract the right crowds – Jackson Wynne positioned The Burroughes in a way to attract retail, office and event space.

Web Design

The Burroughes came to Jackson Wynne for a complete mobile to desktop, responsive website update. The website reflects the one-of-a-kind building while covering its retail, office and event silos.

Offering a unique venue space in Toronto, the main website leads visitors to a separate Events website that caters to those interested.

“Jackson Wynne kept the essence of the building's history in the designs, helping us realize our vision and establishing us in the marketplace.”
